Sports journalist Reshmin Chowdhury is the latest star to back the Premier League's Draw Together Challenge, saying it is an ideal way to show that people who face discrimination are not alone.
The Draw Together Challenge asks primary school children to draw or paint a picture on the theme of allyship, empowering them to help challenge discriminatory behaviour wherever they see it.
Chowdhury encourages children to show their creative side for the challenge and compares the importance of kids being reunited with schoolfriends after lockdown with the support that people who have been discriminated against need to feel.
"If there's one thing we've learned this past year, after all the lockdowns, it's that we need each other now more than ever," she says. "That is especially true for people who are facing racism and discrimination.
"The Premier League want to do something about it. I'm getting my kids involved and I want you to get involved as well."
The Draw Together Challenge is part of the Premier League's No Room For Racism initiative and is available through Premier League Primary Stars.
The challenge runs until Friday 11 June 2021.
Teachers can submit artwork on behalf of their class at Key Stage 1 (5-7-year-olds) or as individual submissions for Key Stage 2 pupils (7-11-year-olds) via the online teacher form on the PL Primary Stars website.
All schools who submit entries before the deadline will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to receive Premier League goodies.
One lucky entrant will get the chance for their school to receive a special visit from the Premier League Trophy.
