Are you match ready? Going to the stadium

29 Dec 2021
Man City fans head to stadium MCICRY

After the Government introduced its "Autumn and Winter Plan B" from 15 December, fans going to a Premier League match need to follow new matchday guidelines if they wish to get access inside the stadium.

If you are planning to show the NHS Pass on your smartphone, check you have saved it "offline" by downloading it or saving it in your Apple or Google Wallet.

This will avoid problems when trying to access it at the ground.

When heading to the match, we ask fans to wear a face covering in all indoor or busy areas on their journeys, including on public transport.

Fans should also follow good public-health behaviours on their journeys, such as washing their hands.

We suggest you look to gain entrance to the stadiums well before your traditional arrival times on matchdays.

This is to allow extra time for COVID spot-checks and to maximise safety outside the stadium while minimising disruption to the matchday experience.
